Foxglove Farm is a 120-acre organic farm on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. The farm is located on one of the original homesteads on the island nestled in a mountain, forest and lake ecosystem rich in flora, fauna and natural history. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest and agricultural fields, bordering Maxwell Lake, we are just minutes from hiking trails entering Mount Maxwell Provincial Park

The farm produces strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, asparagus, melons, greens, roots, a wide range of annual Mediterranean vegetables, as well as orchards of diverse varieties of peach, plum, apple, pear, quince, persimmon, fig, chestnut, and cherry. We also manage a small flock of laying hens, produce ten acres of grains and legumes, and have over 30 acres of hay and pasture.

There are three unique accommodations on Foxglove Farm, which can be booked separately or together for groups. Bountiful Breakfast Baskets of the farm’s fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs are available and can be ordered in advance.

The Classic Farm Cottage is a classic country style guesthouse perfect for couples, friends, or families. The cottage sleeps 2-4, has 1 queen master bedroom, 1 bedroom/den with a queen sleeper couch and a twin bed, full bath with tub/shower, several private decks, wood stove and a queen sleeper couch in the living room, and kitchen fully equipped for breakfast preparation when you order our farm fresh produce baskets. The cottage sleeps 4 people at base rate of $275 a night. Additional guests are $25 per person per night up to a maximum of 5. There is a 3-night minimum. +$125 cleaning charge. Dog fee is $40 per dog. Dog rules of farm must be followed. On least at all times, cleaned up after and not on furniture or linens.

The Heritage Log House is a beautifully restored heritage farmhouse built in 1907. The house is uniquely appointed with traditional décor, fine quilts, comforters, linens and towels provided with antique claw tub/shower with locally made hand soaps. The Log House has two private bedrooms: one with a queen bed with narrow twin for child and the second bedroom with a double bed and a twin bed. Living room downstairs has a twin bed and a queen futon/couch to accommodate additional guests and has a kitchen fully equipped for breakfast preparation when you order our farm fresh produce baskets. . The house sleeps 4 guests for the base price of $295. Additional guests can be accommodated up to a total of 6 guests. Extra guests are $25/night per person. There is a 3 night minimum stay, $125 cleaning fee. Dog fee $40 per dog.

The Red Cabin is a set of 2 cabins. Cabin 1 is a sleeping cabin that can host 1-2, has a double bed in the loft, and two twin beds, armoire and small couch in lower sitting area. Cabin 2, is the fully private kitchen/bathroom area which is a 20ft garden walk away from Cabin 1. The Kitchen is fully private for guests it offers a large kitchen fully equipped for breakfast preparation when you order our farm fresh produce baskets, bathroom has a shower toilet and sink. The bathroom is within the kitchen cabin and separated from the sleeping cabin. Additional people $25 up to a total of 4.

The Red Cabins are perfect for a couple or family with small kids or it can be reserved along with the Heritage Log House or Classic Farm Cottage, as additional private sleeping accommodation. The Red Cabin base rate is $195 per night sleeping up to 2 people with an extra guests $25 per night up to a maximum of 4 people. A 2 night minimum stay is required. +$125 cleaning fee. Dog Fee is $40 per dog.

Foxglove Farm is family-friendly and children of all ages are welcome.

The farm is also pet-friendly, a one-time pet charge of $40 applies.
